Connect an agent

Add FoxCut to ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Cursor, Gemini, Copilot, or another remote MCP client.

ChatGPT

  1. 1Open Settings → Apps and enable the available developer or connector controls.
  2. 2Create an app using the FoxCut remote MCP URL.
  3. 3Complete browser sign-in and consent.
  4. 4Test with account_status and list_models before a billed call.

Claude

  1. 1Open Settings → Connectors.
  2. 2Choose the custom connector option and paste the MCP URL.
  3. 3Authorize FoxCut in the browser.
  4. 4Ask Claude to inspect the account and model catalog.

Grok

  1. 1Open grok.com/connectors.
  2. 2Choose New Connector → Custom and paste the MCP URL.
  3. 3Complete FoxCut browser authorization.
  4. 4Ask Grok to inspect your FoxCut account before any billed generation.

Cursor

  1. 1Open Customize → MCPs or install the FoxCut plugin package.
  2. 2Add the remote FoxCut URL.
  3. 3Complete OAuth in the browser.
  4. 4Test account_status, list_models, and a cost estimate before generation.

Gemini CLI

  1. 1Install or link the FoxCut Gemini CLI extension.
  2. 2Start Gemini and allow it to discover the FoxCut MCP server.
  3. 3Complete browser OAuth.
  4. 4Ask Gemini to list available FoxCut workflows.

VS Code and GitHub Copilot

  1. 1Run MCP: Add Server in VS Code.
  2. 2Choose HTTP and paste the FoxCut MCP URL.
  3. 3Complete browser OAuth.
  4. 4Use the FoxCut tools from Copilot chat.

Perplexity and Windsurf

  1. 1Open the product's Connectors or MCP settings.
  2. 2Choose a custom remote MCP server and paste the FoxCut URL.
  3. 3Complete browser OAuth when prompted.
  4. 4Use read-only account and catalog calls for the first test.

Other MCP clients

Use streamable HTTP, protocol version 2025-06-18, Bearer authentication, and OAuth protected-resource discovery. Legacy stateless JSON-RPC calls are also accepted by the server handler.
